Multi-modal anesthesia and pain management are utilized in every patient, and all animals are closely monitored from the time of sedation through and after recovery from the procedure. Every staff member receives extensive additional training in anesthesia, pain recognition, and pain management to help keep your pet comfortable and safe.
Lazar Veterinary Surgery
Lazar Veterinary Surgery is a mobile specialty practice of board-certified veterinary surgeons who travel to our clinic as needed to perform orthopedic and complex soft tissue surgeries. Our patients are able to remain in our care before, during, and after surgery.
Dr. Tibor Lazar grew up in Fairfax County, Virginia and earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 1996. He then completed a one-year rotating internship at the Animal Medical Center in New York City, followed by four years of internship and residency at Affiliated Veterinary Specialists in Florida. In 2003, he earned board certification from the American College of Veterinary Surgeons.
He lives in Reston with his wife, two sons, and a plethora of pets including dogs, cats, birds, snakes, and fish.
